Clea is thrilled to have begun rehearsals up at The Long Wharf for The Killing of Sister George, starring and directed by Kathleen Turner.  The play was originally written in 1964 by Frank Marcus, but with the help of Turner and writer Jeffrey Hatcher (Tuesdays with Morrie), the play has been reimagined to up the stakes of all the characters and to focus on the central relationship between the female couple at the center (June Buckridge played by Turner and Alice "Childie" McNaught played by Alsip).

A wonderful article to read all about the new adaptation and Kathleen Turner's thoughts on the project can be found here: http://www.playbill.com/news/article/171852-Kathleen-Turner-Re-Plots-The-Killing-of-Sister-George-for-Revised-Revival
